ISLAMIC FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (IFP®) CERTIFICATION PROGRAM
In 2016, Emzek Associates, a sole proprietorship, embarked on a visionary mission to provide comprehensive Islamic Financial Planner (IFP) Programs, catering to both English and Bahasa Melayu medium, with the aim of certification by the Islamic Banking and Finance Institute Malaysia (IBFIM). This marked the inception of what would become Emzek Academy, a pioneering institution in the field of Islamic financial planning education.
The turning point in Emzek Academy’s journey came in 2019 when a pivotal collaboration was forged between the Financial Planning Association of Malaysia (FPAM), IBFIM, and Emzek Associates. This partnership designated Emzek Associates as the official Learning Center for IFP Programs in Kuantan, effectively solidifying their foothold in the East Coast Region. The first series of intakes commenced in February 2020, but the advent of the COVID-19 pandemic prompted a swift transition from traditional classroom learning to virtual sessions. This shift not only ensured continuity in education but also expanded the reach of Emzek Associates to encompass regions beyond their initial scope.
In 2021, Emzek Associates underwent a transformation, evolving into Emzek Associates (M) Sdn Bhd, a private limited company that extended its services to encompass training, consultancy, and advisory in financial planning. This pivotal development paved the way for the establishment of Emzek Academy PLT, the dedicated training arm of Emzek Associates (M) Sdn Bhd. Since its inception, Emzek Academy PLT has played a pivotal role in shaping the future of Islamic financial planning education, producing a remarkable cohort of over 300 accomplished alumni. Through its unwavering commitment to excellence and innovation, Emzek Academy continues to stand at the forefront of the Islamic financial planning landscape, empowering individuals with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate the intricate world of Islamic finance.

THE INAUGURAL IFP® CHALLENGE STATUS PROGRAM EAST
COAST KUANTAN FEBRUARY 2020 INTAKE
In February 2020, Emzek Associates proudly initiated the inaugural IFP Challenge Status Program for the East Coast Region in Kuantan. This marked a significant milestone, as it was the first intake held in Kuantan following Emzek Associates’ appointment as the designated IFP Learning Centre for the region. With great enthusiasm, 20 eager participants enrolled in the program, gathering face-to-face on Saturdays to delve into the intricacies of Islamic financial planning.
Unfortunately, the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic altered the course of our program. Beginning on 18 March 2020, the nationwide implementation of the Movement Control Order (MCO) brought about restrictions on movement and gatherings, prompting a necessary hiatus. It wasn’t until 11 July 2020 that face-to-face classes could resume, with careful adherence to safety measures.
Despite the unprecedented challenges, our determined participants pressed on. Examinations, administered by the Islamic Banking and Finance Institute Malaysia (IBFIM), were successfully held on 22 and 23 August 2020. This edition of the IFP Challenge Status program, spanning from its inception in February to its culmination in August, stands as the lengthiest ever recorded in the history of the program.
This remarkable journey serves as a testament to the resilience and commitment of both our participants and Emzek Associates, reinforcing our dedication to delivering quality education in Islamic financial planning, even in the face of unprecedented challenges.

INTRODUING ONLINE IFP® PROGRAM SESSIONS: PIONEERING EDUCATION IN ISLAMIC FINANCIAL PLANNING WITH EMZEK ACADEMY PLT
In response to the evolving educational landscape, Emzek Associates took a significant stride forward by launching the Online Islamic Financial Planner (IFP) Program on 12 September 2020. This pioneering move marked a new era in Islamic financial planning education, enabling participants from diverse backgrounds and locations to access high-quality training and certification. The inaugural online series garnered an overwhelmingly positive response, affirming the efficacy and accessibility of this innovative learning platform.
Recognizing the increasing demand for their online programs, Emzek Associates took a monumental step in early 2021 by establishing Emzek Academy PLT. This dedicated entity was designed to cater specifically to the growing number of participants seeking to embark on their journey towards becoming certified Islamic financial planners. Since its inception, Emzek Academy has witnessed an impressive enrollment, with a total of 14 intakes for IFP Challenge Status and 2 intakes for IFP Full-Fledged Programs. This resounding success underscores the institution’s commitment to providing top-notch education and training in the realm of Islamic finance.
Looking ahead, Emzek Academy remains steadfast in its mission, with plans to conduct an additional 6 intakes for the IFP Challenge Status and 2 intakes for the IFP Full-Fledged Programs in 2024, further solidifying its position as a trailblazer in the field of Islamic financial planning education.

TRAIN-the-TRAINER (TTT) CERTIFICATION PROGRAM
To make a training program exciting needs a lot of preparation and meticulous attention to detail. Nowadays, acquisition of knowledge requires ability of the facilitator to involve emotion as well as his mind. In order to make the training session spectacular and full of energy, it requires engagement of the participants. The participants will have fun while they are learning.
To reach this stage, first we need to unlearn the beliefs and habits that hold us back and get them superseded by others that help us achieve the success we look for. However, unlearning is not merely about giving away or expulsion; it is about rejecting a previously held belief or repudiating a long revered theory which must be cautiously handled as it can pose a threat to any learner. We need to put some effort into our personal growth and development, because we want the enormous satisfaction that comes from working with others to help them reach their potential as human beings.
We organise a 5-day Train-the-Trainer Program for you to reach that goal.
This program which certified by HRDF shall be conducted and facilitated by our Master Trainer, Tuan Hj Tajodin Sanusi, a pioneer in Train the Trainer Program. After the 5-Day course, you should be able to identify the various characteristics of adult learning principles as per research by Kolb as well as Honey Mumford. You also should be able to demonstrate how to deliver a training program using various technologies such as our own as well as Georgi Lasanov’s and creating tools for their presentation. By acquiring the skill, you should be able to make good presentation utilizing all the methodology, tools and concepts that were given to you for the whole program.

NEURO-LINGUISTICS PROGRAMMING (NLP) CERTIFICATION
The 5-day Basic Certification Program conducted by our Master Trainer, a Certified NLP Trainer, Ungku Azlan Ungku Chulan. Having fulfilled the requirements given by NFNLP, participants shall be awarded with a Basic NLP Practitioner Certificate by the National Federation of Neuro Linguistic Psychology (NFNLP), USA, and signed by the founder himself, Dr. William Horton. With this certification, the participants shall qualify to attend the Master Practitioner Program conducted by NFNLP.
We organised In-house NLP for Islamic Financial Professionals in 2018 attended by some of our Senior Trainers. We would like to invite all the financial professionals to acquire the set of practical skills and insights that you can use to improve how you communicate with others, manage
your moods and live a more rewarding life. We offer 5 days of training that will teach you how to shape what you want, how to make better choices and how you can relate to others more effectively. In this certified course, you will learn the bulletproof thinking that allows you to manage your emotions effectively, communicate persuasively and create excellence in most areas of life.
In 2019 we are introducing Basic Islamic NLP (I-NLP) Practitioner Program in the coming event. Islamic NLP (I-NLP) is actually NLP with an Islamic perspective, where we integrate the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) into the basic frameworks of NLP. We will show you how you can easily practice NLP and the Sunnah in your life. Participants who have fulfilled the requirements given by the I-NLP Training Malaysia (INTiM) shall be awarded a Basic I-NLP Practitioner Certificate by INTIM, and signed by the founder himself, Azlan Chulan, and also the Basic NLP Practitioner Certification by National Federation of Neuro Linguistic Psychology (NFNLP), USA, and signed by the founder himself, Dr. William Horton.
